Bryan Sanders II.

Head Coach - Freshman

Biography:

Coach Sanders is in his first season with the Haddonfield Baseball program.  He was born in Willingboro, New Jersey and grew up in Winslow Township.

Bryan was a four year starter at Winslow Township High School and team captain of the Eagles his senior year.  He was coached by current Cincinnati Reds minor league pitching coach and renowned South Jersey pitching instructor, Cesar Garcia.  Bryan graduated from Winslow in 2020 with a 3.4 cumulative GPA.  He also participated in track and theater.

As a young ball player, Bryan starred in the Winslow Little League and helped his squad win their district championship as a 12 year old.  On the travel circuit, Bryan played for both Arsenal and Mid Atlantic Show and competed in multiple regional tournaments.  Bryan credits his Mid Atlantic Show coach, Frank Nicolosi for teaching him valuable lessons through the game of baseball, including the importance of learning from both wins and losses as well as the proper way to respond to failure.

Bryan has attended and played baseball at Burlington, Gloucester and Cumberland County Colleges.  As a freshman at Burlington CC, he hit .330 with 4 home runs and was coached by South Jersey baseball legend, Bill Stonis.  In the fall of 2024, Bryan will continue his education and college baseball career at Franklin Pierce University, where he will pursue his degree in business management.  He has a goal to some day work in the front office of a Major League Baseball organization.

Bryan credits his parents for instilling a school-first mentality, while also pushing him to work hard in sports.  He is in coaching to give back and help kids succeed beyond the levels of his own success.  He acknowledges that by helping develop kids through baseball, it ultimately helps their overall development as well as the community.

"I'm excited to be a part of the rich culture and tradition of Haddonfield Baseball.  It is a community that cares about their athletics and more importantly, their athletes." - Coach Sanders

John Tedeschi.
